Eccles Students Become Aspiring Professionals

 

Students from Salford City College, Eccles Centre have been accepted onto the Aspiring Professionals Programme 2010.

The Aspiring Professionals Programmem, which is offered by the Social Mobility Fund, offers Year 12 students the opportunity to be mentored for one year by a professional in their chosen career sector. Students will also gain access to workshops on a range of topics including leadership and communication skills, and university application advice. They will also be considered for summer internships in the career area of their choice and be supported with further skills events whist at university.

The students from the Eccles Centre, Hannah Keenan, Hannah Sheldon, Sarah Jameson and Lauren Weir, are very excited to start the programme and look forward to the new experiences and skills they can develop.
