Biologists' Genetics Day

Students studying Biology at the Eccles Centre have recently attended a special workshop at Nowgen, Manchester's Centre For Genetics In Heatlhcare.

The workshop investigated convergent evolution between humans and chimpanzees, and included an opportunity to use the students' own DNA to make new discoveries.

Thia was a fantastic opportunity for the students to apply the theory they have been learning and to take information from for their forthcoming exams.
