Higher Education Evening at Eccles Sixth Form

Students and their parents of Salford City College had the opportunity to attend a Higher Education Evening at the Eccles Sixth Form Centre on Thursday 24th June.

The annual event enables students to speak to visiting universities, training providers and Connexions as well as attend a host of workshops. The workshops included how to write the best university application, finance issues and university life.

As always the event was very well attended with over 12 universities being present including Liverpool John Moores, Salford, Manchester, Liverpool, Nottingham, Bolton and Lancaster.

The majority of A-Level and advanced vocational students at Salford City College continue on to university and the college is keen to ensure that students are fully equipped and informed to help them make the right decision for them when leaving.
