Rescue Dog Demonstration
03 June 2010
Last month, Animal Care students at Salford City College, Eccles Sixth Form Centre were visited by Manchester's Fire and Rescue Dog Unit for a demonstration on the work that the service dogs do.
A representative from the fire and rescue service in Manchester introduced the students to a service dog and gave a very useful and fun demonstration on the activites which the dogs take part in, during their work.
This visit gave the Animal Care students at the Eccles Centre a great insight into one of their many career options on leaving college and all in attendance found it very useful.
