Open Evening 2009

At the last Open Evening for the Eccles Centre this year, visiting students could enter their name into a compeition to win an iPod or iPhone.

The latest winner has been drawn out of the hat and is Connor McKinney, currently in Year 11 at St. Patrick's RC High School.

Connor, who will be attending the Eccles Centre next year to study A-Levels in Drama, English (Combined), Film and Psychology, said of his win "I was really suprised and very pleased when I found out I had won the iPod. As chances are always so slim in compeitions like this, I thought it was a wind up when I got the call!"

At the latest Eccles Centre Open Evening, students had the opportunity to win an Apple iPhone or iPod Touch and the first winner has been drawn.

Visitors to the college put their details in a box, with a chance to win one of the two fantastic prizes, and the first winner was Rowan Chapman, from the Albion High School, who is now the owner of a brand new Apple iPhone.

Rowan, who is considering studying on the Animal Management course at the Eccles Centre, said, "I was really pleased when I found out and couldn't believe it. My old phone has recently broken too, so it was perfect!"
